The company made its first steps, in 2010 when Alejandro Brega founded RedVlog, to represent a network of women's blogs. In 2011 Andrés Aller joined the management of the company, which was renamed MediaFem.
In a few years we became a technology focused company which offers advertisers and publishers access to our platform where they can manage all of their needs without the assistance of a representative (who remain online just in case). This web based tool allows them to register on MediaFem, where they can obtain codes to monetize their ad-spaces with our campaigns, pull different reports regarding their income and performance, in addition to a system of alerts for new campaigns. For our advertisers, the tool allows them to create an advertising campaign and to be online in a few steps on our sites.
We currently have over 300 active sites focused on women and a great ability to influence the female market segment. Our focus from the beginning has been the affiliation of sites that meet an interesting content for women as Beauty, Health, Fashion, Moms and Babies, Cooking, Entertainment and other representative categories. We have run over 1000 campaigns of large advertisers like Coca Cola, Unilever, P&G, Kimberly Clark, L'Oreal, Johnson, Kraft, Telefónica, Bayer, Estée Lauder, among other major brands recognized worldwide who seek to communicate their products to the female audience online.
In October 2012 we became the exclusive sales representative of Glam Media in Latin America, now Mode Media. We incorporated to our network new women oriented sites of high target (ABC1) in English to offer our advertisers another option within the female online audience. During 2014 we agreed on a partnership with Impaktu, the online video adnetwork for Latin America, to commercialize their product in the Argentine market. In early 2014 we launched AdTomatik, a new product developed by us to provide solutions to performance oriented advertisers and those interested in buying audiences in addition to the features of self-service for publishers and advertisers. And so, enclosing these four products, MediaFem Group was born.
Today in MediaFem Group we are more than 20 professionals specializing in advertising, communication and technology with a staff whose main task is to be innovative, creative and customer-focused. With a head office in Argentina and one in Mexico, we work to develop new Internet advertising solutions to the demand of our sites and advertisers.
